We have male pups available from our litter born 21st October 2023 born to Heidi and Sprout. This is Heidi's third and final litter as she will be turning six in May. The pups were vet checked and received their first vaccinations of L4 on the 13th of December at Kirks Vets in Sleaford, and then have received their second ones Friday 12th of January, so they are therefore now ready to leave us once their new families are found. Although we allow them to leave us from around 10 weeks of age we prefer them to leave us a little later as this gives us slightly longer to do what we we need to with them and ensures toilet training is well underway and that they at least have some manners before they join their new families. They have been wormed at the correct 2, 5 and 7 and 10 and 12 weeks schedule and won’t be due another wormer now until next month. They are also microchipped and come with 5 weeks free Kennel Club insurance. Their toilet training is going very well and have just started lead and recall training, they are very well mannered pups and very well integrated with our adult dogs and family life. We include a full information folder with each our pups, which contains their worming record schedule, vet visit record, vaccination card, copy of your free insurance policy, growth chart and milestones, characteristics and a socialisation and habitation record along with microchip details and new owner transfer code, pedigree and KC documents and a copy of your contract of sale and copies of the parents heart examinations. Mum and Dad to this litter are heart tested (most recent examination for Dad was 19th of September 2023). We also provide you with a copy of our whippet puppy handbook which is a 200 plus page handbook designed to help you navigate ownership and includes everything from breed traits or feeding, and neutering advise, but of course it goes without saying we are on hand 24/7 should you need us for support, help or advise throughout your dogs life. As our commitment to our pups and their new owners is life long. All of our pups have their KC paperwork endorsed to start off with against being exported or bred on from - this ensures that anyone wanting to breed from their dog , come back to us for help and support as we feel breeding your dog is a complex matter and promoting good breeding ethics through our mentoring and breeding education seminars is something we are passionate about so therefore endorse all of our pups to begin with. We are currently in the process of qualifying to become an assessor for the new ofqual breeding qualification which is the first of it’s kind and something we have been actively campaigning for, for the last 10 years. By placing endorsements we can help to ensure that the recommended health testing is carried out and it helps protect our beloved breed and what I and others before me have worked so hard to create as it takes an entire village of previous breeders to make a puppy what it is. You will also receive a physical puppy pack which includes amongst other useful things, 3kg of purina dry puppy food that we wean our pups on and also 2 weeks free supply of Butternut Box that we use as a topper to the dry food. A scent blanket, various safe toys that we recommend, a puppy hound collar and lead, a red dingo tag engraved with the new owners details, poo bags and food bowl that is the same as what we use to feed our pups which keeps continuity for the pup, some training treat to help you to continue the training that we have started and various other items that we consider to be essential items to help our pups settle with their new families as quickly and easily as possible. Each of our pups and litters are raised in our family home amongst our other dogs with the utmost of care and follow a tried and tested method of socialisation and habitation that begins at brith and continues until the day they leave for their new homes to ensure each of our pups are confident and carefree and ready to embrace their life with their new families.
